Global Product Development: Developing high quality products and high quality people.

Product Development (PD) engineers are responsible for delivering exciting products that are world class in cost, quality, function and time to market. As ONE team, we are committed to delighting our customers and employees by executing consistently while using common global standards, methods and processes with rigor and discipline.

Our Designers are responsible for designing Graphic User Interface, automotive graphic design strategies and solutions for production vehicles. This is accomplished through a combination of digital and 3D media. They prepare 2D imagery and interactive sequences to illustrate designs for management reviews. They work with other disciplines in the development of GUI, badging, and instrumentation. Ultimately interfacing with program teams in the development of high quality production vehicles.
Our success story: Our designers love to find new, beautiful designs for our vehicle interiors. Recently, they've had the opportunity to make the whole design and aesthetics process take on greater meaning by incorporating more "green" fabrics and materials into the next generation of vehicle interiors. The Lincoln MKR concept vehicle is our example of guilt-free luxury. It features several innovative interior solutions, beginning with the extensive use of wood on the instrument panel. This wood is a reengineered oak, which has been recycled and reassembled grain by grain, and stained black to give the wood a warm, rich appearance without using additional trees.
