Global Product Development: Developing exceptional products and people
Product Development team members are responsible for delivering exciting products that are world-class in exterior and interior design, capability and quality—all with exceptional value. As a highly-skilled team, we are committed to delighting our customers through disciplined execution and the consistent pursuit of product excellence.
Global Product Planning & Strategy is the organization responsible for leading the creation and approval of global product strategy and plans. Specifically, this includes:
- Analyzing consumer trends, the industry landscape and corporate realities to develop business strategies and the associated product strategies that deliver profitable growth
- Applying these strategies to build actionable product plans that fit within business constraints
- Establishing clear, compelling assumptions for program teams to execute
- Ensuring a consistent cadence of customer-visible features and innovations to differentiate Ford products

--Position qualifications--
- Pursuing a Masters in Business Administration or Engineering Management
- BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Aeronautical/Aerospace)
- Professional work experience gained prior to completion of graduate school (2-5 years preferred)
- Passionate about product planning and strategy
